Winchester's Story...
Winchester is an awesome boy! He was raised from a puppy in a very stable environment. He knows basic commands and is eager to please. He is totally housebroken and crate trained. (Crating is recommended for all pets adopted from CPR for at least the first couple of weeks when left unsupervised in the new home.)
Winchester gets along with other dogs but supervised and cautious introduction is advised for all dog intros. He loves to play and is not aggressive at all.
Winchester really loves to ride in the car and he loves to go on long walks.
If you are not an experienced pit bull guardian, it is highly recommended that breed research is done before pursuing adoption. Pit bulls are highly energetic dogs and crave the companionship of their family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winchester, a Harvard Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Harvard, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Harvard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harvard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harvard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harvard paves the way for another one to be saved.
