Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shep is a sweet-faced Shepherd-Sharpei (or so we're guessing) mix who was walking around Gratiot, Missouri, alone and with a small linked chain around his neck. He's between 8 months and a year old -- a great age to for a new start, don't you think? -- and a friendly lad who was a little intimidated by his time in the noisy shelter he came from. As hard as it is to believe, no one claimed this handsome, friendly fellow, so he's made the trip to Chicago where he's ready to start a new life as a well-loved indoor companion. He'll enjoy lots of exercise and should take well to training. He's new to Lucky Dogs so he's being vetted and evaluated now. When he's ready for adoption, he'll have been be neutered, dewormed, and up to date on vaccinations. We'll post more about Shep as wel get to know him.
