BuddyGirl's Story...
BuddyGirl is a ragdoll with black around her eyes and her body is white and gray. Very soft longish hair. She is 4 years old, about 10 pounds. BuddyGirly was happy with her owners until they brought home an overactive hyper dog. Things went downhill from there. She went to a foster home with a very playful large ragdoll, things didn't go well again. BuddyGirl likes other dogs and cats as long as they are on the quiet side like she is. She likes under the bed but will expand her horizons when she feels comfortable. She plays during the night with a young cat who also lives at this home and has met and had no problems with a dog that came to visit. BuddyGirl is looking for her fur-ever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BuddyGirl, a Port Republic Ragdoll cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ragdoll for sale in Port Republic, or seeking a Ragdoll cat from a breeder in Port Republic.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Port Republic already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Port Republic breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ragdoll breeders who help with Ragdoll rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Port Republic paves the way for another one to be saved.
