Phantom HH's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Phantom HH's Story...
Phantom is a black, white and rust neutered male border collie/aussie with no tail and a full skirt. He is approximately 3-4 years old, up to date on all vaccinations and very social and loving. He currently lives with 3 other dogs of various sizes, 4 cats and an 18 month old baby. Phantom loves long walks by the lake, playing in the water when he gets hot, cuddling, running, playing with his stuffed dog and all the attention he can get. He travels well in a crate or in the back seat, car sickness is not an issue. He would make a great chair-side companion but prefers being outdoors and would do well in a fenced yard, he’s very easy on gardens. He gets along well with other dogs and children but is easily excited by cats. He would be a fantastic addition to the right family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phantom HH, a Portland Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Portland, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
