Ricky (Courtesy)'s Story...
This is Ricky. He’s really really friendly and loving. He loves to snuggle, play with toys, chase balls and play with other dogs and kids. He’s about 6- 8 months old per the vet, about 35lbs, 18-20 inches tall, and has his adult teeth but he’s not neutered. He appears to be house trained and last night spent the night in a kennel with no objection or problems. He seems used to it. He’s the biggest food hound we have ever met!! Quite food motivated. He’s really a joy to be around! Full of love and happiness, that’s him. He was found stray with no ID and having no luck finding his owners. He needs a home. Email us about Ricky!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ricky (Courtesy), a Indianapolis Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
