Alexandra is a gorgeous and petite little French Chartreux/Russian Blue mix girl, weighing just 6 lbs. She was rescued at one year old and quickly gave birth to three baby kittens: Levemir (Russian Blue male), Kytril (Russian Blue male) and Natasha (black Siamese girl). All of her babies were adopted once they were old enough to be spayed or neutered. Alexandra has tested negative for feline leukemia, AIDS and FIP. She has been spayed, had her shots, deworming, and flea medicine, as well as other medical treatment. Alexandra is a lovely little diva who prefers to be the alpha animal of her home. She has no fear of dogs, large or small, and is fine with them as long as they do not bother her. Alexandra is NOT recommended for children of any age. She enjoys spending her time napping in a soft cat bed or the top of a cat tower. Alexandra does not hide from quiet visitors, but will lounge wherever she is and watch you curiously. She is not a lap cat and does not enjoy being petted or picked up. Alexandra can be playful at times with various cat toys and has several friends here at Healing Hearts, all of them other spayed adult females: Sanctura and Thyme. Alexandra will need a quiet home with a family that is willing to let her take things at her own pace. She would probably be happiest with at least one other cat to keep her company, preferably an adult female. Alexandra's adoption fee is $50 because she is difficult to handle. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (615) 290-2454 for more information. She is now seven years old.
