UPDATE on Max! He is fully healed and available for adoption!! Max will be looking for his forever family at the Petsmart in North Santa Ana on Sunday, May 28th from 10am - 2pm.

Max is such a sweet kitty and loves people even though he was brutally attacked by some horrible people. Max was held down and purposely shot with a pellet gun 6 times. Some kids saved him and took him to a wonderful lady to take care of. CIN took him a vet and they took out the pellet in his jaw. Unfortunately, Max lost his right eye due to a pellet directly in the eye and the pellets in the spine and top of the head are not removable. Despite what happened to him, Max is such a delight and doesn't fuss at all throughout any treatments, shots or handling by the vets or his foster mom. Max is only 1 year old and gets along famously with his foster mom's other cats and dog. He is very healthy and happy to be in a safe place and is just waiting for his forever family.
