Oscar's Story...
My story: Oscar was found by a dumpster. I have no idea what happened to him or where he came from. He is very friendly and acts like a bully with the other kittens in the house, but then rolls over on his back when they try to play with him. He is apparently healthy and very curious. He greets me at the door and follows me around the house most of the time. He loves attention and sleeps on the floor by my bed. He doesn't want to sleep in the bed for some reason. He is not big enough to leave yet but should be ready by the middle of July. Let me know if you would like to meet him before that.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
