Matthew's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Matthew's Story...
I was pulled from a high kill animal control facility just in the nick of time. Seems the time span from when you enter that building to when they determine that your life will be over is very short, kind of like me. Ha!Ha! Yes, I do have stubby little legs, but that is the Welsh Corgi in me. And then when you mix in the Jack Russell Terrier, you get the cutest, most kissable puppy in the CAAWS building. I was born approximately 2/20/10, have been neutered, and am current on shots and heartworm prevention. There is no time limit on my stay here at CAAWS, and no offense to them, but please come get me and take me home to play with your other pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Matthew, a Baton Rouge Corgi/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Corgi/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Corgi/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
