Logan's Story...
Hi, my name’s Logan! Well, I was out running in the fields with some of my foxhound buddies for a couple of days, we were having a blast, you know, the freedom, the wind in your hair, type of thing. But the nights were starting to get a little cold, and my tummy was rumbling.
A lady came and caught all of us and took us to a shelter. It was warmer there and I had some dinner, but the other dogs kept talking about being “put to sleep”. I wasn’t very sleepy, so I didn’t like the sound of that too much. They kept telling me my time was coming up soon, I gotta tell you, I was getting a little worried! But this Beagle Rescue place came along just in time, whisked me away, and I took a long ride to Pennsylvania, and here I am!
My foster family is really cool! I have some new foster brothers and a sister, and there’s some cats here too. My foster mom says I am a young guy and I have a lot to learn. She is trying to teach me to pottie outside and to sit. It’s tough because I have so much energy and I don’t want to sit still! But I am trying to listen, because, geez, the food here is REALLY good!
Even though I am full of vim and vigor, I love to cuddle too! My foster mom says I am very soft. I already knew that, and I just thought I’d let you know, I have a cute face too!
I’m starting to like this whole “family” thing, and I think I’d like one of my very own!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Logan, a Waldorf Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Foxhound dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound breeders who help with Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
