I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Michi's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, declawed, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Michi's Story...
Michi was on death row at PG County shelter and her time was almost up. Her owner surrendered her because she got a new unspayed female who chased Michi relentlessly. When she first arrived, Michi was terrified of everything and everyone. We've been working with her for about 6 months now, and although she's still a little shy, her inner diva has been able to come out. You can tell how excited she is about the chance to cuddle because she compulsively licks her right forepaw as though she's flirting with her cuddler. We think Michi would do well in a quiet home without children where she can be the center of attention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Michi, a Alexandria American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Alexandria, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Alexandria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alexandria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alexandria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alexandria paves the way for another one to be saved.
