Meow! My name is Zweena
|Breed:||Domestic Shorthair||Color:||Gray, Blue Or Silver Tabby||Age:||Adult|
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
Ashley, Zweena,and Teddie came from a very loving home, but their mother must go into an assisted living because she is very ill. She loved her kitties very much and took good care of them. She rescued them from a horrible hoarding situation and provided them with the loving home that they deserved. She wanted to make sure they found a new loving home, so she contacted us, in hopes that we could help her. We told her we would be more than happy to help her and her babies. We recently took in Sunshine and Ms. Smokey, who already found a wonderful home together!
Zweena is a darling girl that is a bit confused as to why she is at the shelter, but I think in time she will be OK. Her mom describes her as very playful and affectionate. I think once we start spending a lot of time with her she will start enjoying her time with us. But she is such a doll, I don’t think she will be with us long.
Once we learn more about Zweena, we will give updates!
Good Mews offers an alternative to traditional animal shelters in the Metro Atlanta area by providing a no-kill, cage-free haven for homeless, abused, or abandoned cats until placing them in permanent, loving homes. Good Mews promotes public awareness regarding the value of pets, animal welfare, pet overpopulation, and quality human-animal companionship through education and outreach programs.
Good Mews is open every Saturday from 10 - 4, the first and third Sunday of the month from 1 - 4. In addition, we participate in many offsite adoption activities throughout the month. Check the Calendar of Events on our website for details!
Adoption information can be located on our website (www.goodmews.org). Adoption applications can also be downloaded from that site. We participate in the ASPCA Meet Your Match Felinality program.
