Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bear has been WONDERFUL with us. We have 12 other dogs, large, small, old and young and he is fine with all of them. He is very playful, very happy playing with a toy, tug, etc. with any one who will play with him, very polite with my 3 year old daughter and shows no interest in the cats. He is housebroken, has not chewed anything he shouldn't, does not bark much and sleeps well through the night. He is inside during the night and in and out with a dog door during the day. He has no apparent health problems, is a little shy with people at first but warms up quickly. He is small, only about 35 pounds and has medium length soft black fur. He also has a funny habit of jumping straight up into the air when he is excited to see you, but he does not jump on you at all.
We think he would do very well in almost any situation. He is clearly a dog's dog but we think would handle being an only dog without problem if he had his own toys to keep himself amused.
