Otto's Story...
Otto is one of the most adorable pups! He has awesome coat that has all the colors you could ever want - white with black and red ticking. Otto is a calm, but playful puppy. He really enjoys our daily walks through the trails of Athens. He will even jump into the lake and swim around. Otto is into eating, sleeping, and playing...just like any typical puppy. He is doing wonderful with housebreaking, but still makes tiny mistakes here and there. He knows exactly what "Want to go outside?" means. He loves to cuddle up with me while we relax and watch some TV. At night he sleeps with this brother in a crate, and can make it through the night without making potty mistakes. If you're looking for a cute, cuddly, easy puppy Otto is the perfect companion for you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Otto, a Greensboro Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound breeders who help with Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
