I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Odie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Odie's Story...
Oh basking in the sunshine! My most favorite past time! Sure I would rather be snuggling with my friends in the sunshine but hey, I'm technically a homeless kid with no family of my own so I guess I can't be too picky.

I am a five year old chihuahua who is sweet, snuggly and pretty easy going. Sure I have a bit of chi chi sass so a quiet home with not too much commotion would be my ideal set up but if you want a quiet and easy kid I am your boy.

I am living in foster with dogs and cats and I do well with both!

I am house and crate trained and I love to ride along in the car, go for walks and lounge around the house watching romantic comedies.

I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $120

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Odie, a Portland Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Portland, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
