My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi!
I'm Diezel's other half! I was thrown out in the dump about a month ago and Diezel befriended me! If you read his story you will see that he had many porcupine quills in his face. Throughout this time I stayed at his side, under a shack, teaching him that not all people are bad. I taught him to take treats from a really nice woman and I was sort of his caretaker!

In the end, our roles sort of reversed! Diezel was feeling much better with the antiobiotics he was taking and he became my leader.

About two weeks ago, while still living at the dump, I also got into quills but nearly as much as Diezel. My rescuer was able to pull about 30 out for me the first day she met me but I still had some in my nose and muzzle. My vet pulled these out for me while I was asleep and I feel much better now!

I am a quieter dog and a little unsure of this thing humans call "love". But it's sort of growing on me.

I'm going to be spayed right away since I was in heat when I was rescued.

If you are looking for that special new family member, please consider me! Please contact Rescue for Life at info@rescue4life.org or (780) 702-6151
