Izzie's Story...
Hi! My name is Izzie. I am a terrier mix and I'm about 8 months old. I was dropped off at this house in west tennessee because my owners didn't want me. The owners there got in touch with my foster mom and she is getting me ready for you. I am very shy and always stiffen up when held. I haven't been held or loved much but I'm looking forward to getting use to it by spending lots of time on your lap! :9) I stick close to the house and never run off when out without a leash on. I will have all my shots and will be spayed before you adopt me. My adoption fee is $425 and includes all vet care and transportation to you! EMail Saving Companions at savingcompanions@yahoo.com for questions and adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Izzie, a Danbury Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund for sale in Danbury, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Danbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Danbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Danbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Danbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
