Justice's Story...
UPDATE 9/18/2010: Justice is the only kitten left from his litter. His 2 sister's Liberty and Hope have been adopted. Justice unfortunately got an ulcer or scratch on his cornea and his right eye became infected and ruptured. It is trying to heal and he needs several medications to help it heal. He may also need surgery to remove the eye or to do an eye flap procedure to try to get it to heal but this is very expensive. If you can help provide Justice a special needs home, please e-mail us or if you can't give him a home but can help by donating to his medical care he would really appreciate it.
Justice is such a special and remarkable kitten. Nothing slows him down, not even his eye. He is curious and into everything. Justice loves to explore and to play. He is also extremely affectionate and craves human attention. He will follow you around like a little puppy dog and isn't afraid of anything...even in new places or at the vet clinic. Justice is a very brave and outgoing boy and we just have to do all we can to help him. Please donate to Justice by e-mailing or visit us at PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville each weekend from 11am-4pm.
POSTED 7/7/2010: Liberty, Hope, and Justice are our 4th of July babies. They are only 1 lb. each and very tiny so they are too young to be adopted just yet but they will be ready soon. They were found deep down in a car engine where their mom had obviously put them for safe keeping. They were terrified and until a week ago had never seen people. Now they are the biggest love buckets you will ever meet. All 3 come running when they hear their foster mom's voice. Justice is the solid black male and Liberty and Hope are brown tabby females. If you are interested in adopting or fostering, please e-mail us at Our adoption fee is $100 to help cover a portion of the medical and care costs. All of our kittens are vet checked, leukemia tested, vaccinated, dewormed, fecal parasite tested, treated for fleas and other parasites with advantage, spayed or neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption. Many of our adoptable cats and kittens are at PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville from 11am-4pm each and every Saturday and Sunday.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Justice, a Putnam Hall Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Putnam Hall, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Putnam Hall.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Putnam Hall already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Putnam Hall breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Putnam Hall paves the way for another one to be saved.
