Isis's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Isis's Story...
Isis is a very gentle and sweet 9-month-old Tortie kitten -- that is, until she has a "kitty flier" to play with or cat nip mouse. Then, she turns into the most proficient "hunter" in the universe. Give this gal some good toys and she will be happy for hours! Isis is healthy, spayed, up to date on shots and good around other animals -- both dogs and cats. Very lovely and nice cat. But, mostly Isis is a blast to play with and watch. Isis was rescued from the city pound, after being turned in because of an "allergic baby." If interested in this "high flier" please call us, rather than email (212) 427-8273.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Isis, a New York American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in New York, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
