Serenity's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Serenity's Story...
Serenity is a 3 year old Lab/Beagle mix who weights about 40 lbs. All shots are current, negative for heartworm and spayed. If someone wants a true rescue dog, this is it. She is so sweet and makes a great indoor pet as she's housebroken.

She needs a loving home with compassion because she will certainly give it back. She walks well on a leash, will come when called, but not at first - needs to feel safe. She gets along well with our other dogs.

She is really special, very kind and would be a true loyal companion. She walks right next to me.

If you would like to learn more about Serinity, please feel free to contact her foster parents Gary & Pat at or call 903-829-5412.

CLAW's adoption donation for a dog is $100.

Citizens League for Animal Welfare (CLAW) is a non-profit organization. The adoption donation goes towards providing full veterinary services, spay/neuter, heartworm testing, heartworm preventative & care of the foster animals in our program.

We recommend that your new family member be introduced to the family veterinarian for a thorough examination as soon as possible. In addition, we encourage you to continue your new family member on a Heartworm Preventive program.

This pet is: up to date with routine shots, altered

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Serenity, a Canton Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Beagle for sale in Canton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog from a breeder in Canton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Canton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Canton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Beagle breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Canton paves the way for another one to be saved.
