Charlie's Story...
Kinda young! Kinda wow! Charlie, Charlie!

This precious, male Cocker Spaniel is at PAWS because his owner recently passed away. Charlie was born 11/7/2006. He's a charming, cuddly boy who is eager to please. Ask him to give you "high five" or "lay down" and you'll be impressed. Charlie enjoys the company of friendly dogs and gentle, friendly youngsters. He's a chubby boy who needs to lose weight, so while he's content to live the life of a couch potato, Charlie would do best with someone who will throw a ball for him to chase, and who will take him on walks, and give him plenty of exercise.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Norwalk Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
