Bailey's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bailey's Story...
This is Bailey - a male, 18 month-old lab mix. His former "owner" dropped him off at a vet's office for vaccinations and never came back to get him. After being abandoned at the clinic for two weeks, the vet vaccinated and neutered him, then he was taken to a shelter.

Bailey appears black in the pictures, but he's actually a dark chocolate brown with lighter markings around his ears and legs. He has as much energy as you would expect a young lab to have, but he's also very gentle and attentive. He's about 40 lbs (he's lanky) so he might fill out a bit more and maybe top out at 50 lbs. Bailey's already crate trained! He just needs a home!

Please Note: We are not a shelter. Our rescued dogs are kept in foster homes. We show pets to potential adopters by appointment only.

If the dog you are interested in has not been spayed or neutered yet, it will be prior to adoption or will be as a condition of adoption. NO EXCEPTIONS

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Montevallo Labrador Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) for sale in Montevallo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Montevallo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Montevallo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Montevallo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Montevallo paves the way for another one to be saved.
