GIANNI's Story...
Meet Gianni! This poor pup was found scared and starving in the desert. He is warming up quickly and really blossoming. He does well with other dogs, don't know about cats yet as we are getting to know him better and will post more soon. A gorgeous love bug who really needs a foster to show him how wonderful being in a loving family can be! Check back often for updates! **UPDATE** 7/5/10 Gianni is doing great! He's really coming out of his shell and is enjoying being a curious pup. He spent a long weekend with a foster family and had a great time playing ball with the kids, going for walks, and snuggling on the sofa! He just needs a little time to warm up and lots of reassurance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GIANNI, a San Diego Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
