Oolong's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and in need of an experienced adopter.

Oolong's Story...
Oolong is a four week old (july 21, 2010) black baby bunny. He is looking for a home along with his momma chamomile or brother Earl, or brother Chai. The bunnies are eating pellets, Timothy hay and greens, but the babies are also still nursing for one more week. They will be ready to go their separate ways on July 28th when they are five weeks old. They are all well-socialized and so much fun. They enjoy playing with each other and chasing each other around. Momma uses her litter box like a good girl and she’s teaching her babies so they can be wonderful house rabbits. They will all be spayed/neutered when they are five or six months of age. The surgery is included in their adoption fee of $100 each. To meet and possibly adopt one or two of these rabbit family members, please contact sheri@petraits.com or 312-961-4571. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oolong, a Chicago Himalayan was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Himalayan from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
