Zoe's Story...
Meet Zoe!

Zoe was saved by our rescue partner in Taiwan. She is now living in a foster home in Vancouver.

Anything you can do, I can do better ... and on only three legs!

Zoe might only have three legs, but you'd never guess it as she goes up and down the stairs, jumps on the couch, and loves to run around. She's determined to keep up and even outdo any other dog with four legs.

Currently, Zoe lives with a 2 year old toddler, other dogs, a cat, and three horses. But she'd also be great for a single person that's just looking for a buddy.

If you would like to meet Zoe please fill out an adoption application at, www.penniesfordogs.org/adoption_application.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoe, a Vancouver Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
