ADOPTED's Story...
SHAGGY HAS BEEN ADOPTED

haggy is a adult male Shih Tzu. The picture is of him shaved down. He currently has longer hair as seen in the second picture and will have a new picture after he is groomed. (update Shaggy has been groomed thanks to Anitas Wags to Riches in East Brunswick who donated their grooming services) He is well behaved and mellow. A go with the flow kinda guy. He is shy in a new environment and arround new people. He needs a few days to realize he is safe. He is not at all agressive. He would make a great dog for an older couple. Shaggy is up to date on shots neutered and micro chipped. Adoption application and references are required. Adoption fees range from $175-$300 depending on age and amount of medical care. If you would like to meet Shaggy he will be at Petco's National Adoption Day on Sunday July 25, 2010 from 10am-2pm at Old Bridge Petco 1060 US HWY 9 PARLIN, NJ 08859 will be at our adoption day Sunday July 25, 2010 from 10am-2pm for National Adoption Weekend at Petco 1060 US Highway 9 in Parlin (Old Bridge) NJ. Why Adoption is a Great Option

ADOPTED, a East Brunswick Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in East Brunswick, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in East Brunswick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Brunswick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Brunswick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Brunswick paves the way for another one to be saved.
