Dolly's Story...
Dolly is an owner surrender from MO. She's a 7 year old Brittiny Spanial. She was a hunting dog and when she wouldn't / couldn't hunt any more, her person dropped her @ a shelter in Missouri. She has been shaved because she was extremely matted and when her coat comes back in, she will be beautiful. Apparently someone was abusive to her as she is terrified of almost everything. She does love to be petted and is the sweetest little dog and only wants to be close to you.. She will make somone a wonderful companion. We're working with her to help her to not be afraid and trust again. She's good with other dogs and cats, but hasn't been kid tested yet. She walks great on her leash and has good house manners.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolly, a Racine Brittany/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Brittany/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Racine, or seeking a Brittany/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Racine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Racine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Racine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Brittany/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Brittany/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Racine paves the way for another one to be saved.
