Meow! My name is Cotton
I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
My person died in 2005, but she had made arrangements for me to come to F.A.T. Cat Haven if anything happened to her. I am a love bug and would love my very own home. I need to be indoors only since I'm white or I get sunburned. I have had cancer removed from one ear because of it, so it's a little crumpled and short since these pictures. I'm still very cute and a small cat. Oh yeah, check out these beautiful eyes! In 2010 I was diagnosted with diabetes so I need insulin injections twice a day and special MD canned food diet. If you can't adopt me, maybe you could sponson me by making special donations on our website to help with my care. I'm an expensive cat now but I love everyone and would really love a home of my own.
We rescue homeless, abused, abandoned cats. We also provide a home for those cats left to us by their persons for various reasons. We are a no kill shelter and will provide lifetime, loving care for any cat placed under our guardianship if it is not adopted. This shelter was started because there was a need for a place where cats could live out there lives in a natural, safe, loving environment. We accept cats in all stages of life, some with medical conditions, handicaps, the elderly and the orphans needing to be bottle fed. F.A.T. Cat Haven will provide anything necessary for a cat to have a loving, quality of life. Our greatest need is a grant writer to help raise funds to expand our facility and provide the needed funding for food and veterinary care so we can shelter and provide a home for more cats in need.

The cats need donations of money, food (canned & dry), treats, paper towels, used clean blankets, grooming brushes and combs, advantage flea treatment (any size), laundry detergent, sponges and of course loving volunteers.
Currently our adoption fee is $50. This is sometimes negotiable if adopting more than one cat or kitten. There will be a simple form to fill out so we have your information. We will interview you to make sure that we will be adopting to a responsible pet owner and to be sure that we will have a cat that will fit into your particular household. We do request that if for some reason later you are no longer able to keep or care for the adopted pet, that it be returned to our sanctuary.
