Petey's Story...
Ahhhhh...there's nothing better than stretching out on your back across a pile of warm clothes, fresh out of the dryer. A fella's gotta have his beauty sleep. After all, how do you think Petey got to be so handsome? Meet our baby boy, Petey - born just after the first of the year. Petey was found as a stray, his tummy bloated with worms, but his happy personality was firmly intact. Petey probably never realized that, for a short period, he was homeless. He has definately left those days far behind him. Petey hit the ground running in his foster home - making friends with everyone. He loves to curl up for a nap with his Rottweiler buddy, Ace, and loves to chase his foster mom's cat (much to her chagrin). Petey is just full of life, full of spunk and never has a bad day. Like all puppies, Petey loves his chew toys and is curious about anything and everything. This guy likes to check stuff out and take it all in. Our $150 adoption fee helps cover the cost of Petey's medical care. Petey has been wormed and has received his first boosters. He will receive 2 more rounds of boosters and be neutered, once he is old enough. All Petey needs now is a family of his own to love him forever. If you are ready for the big responsibility of a puppy and promise to love Petey just as much when he's an adult dog, please complete our online application today: www.tassieshope.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petey, a Carrollton Corgi puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Carrollton, or seeking a Corgi puppy from a breeder in Carrollton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carrollton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carrollton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carrollton paves the way for another one to be saved.
