My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** COURTESY POSTING****

Hello! Its me Sweet Caroline. I am a very sweet, gentle 5 year old plott hound, lab mix. I was one of many dogs that was rescued from a hoarding situation in Arizona. There were at least 40 of us dogs that were in great need of help, and luckily I was taken in by a wonderful lady. She took 10 of us under her wings and has found homes for 9 of the pups, and I am the last one who needs a forever home.

I am quiet and well mannered, and ride in the car. And most of all, I love to take walks!! I get along with other dogs, and I am housetrained. And most important, I am not a barker, whiner, or a girl that would get into any trouble. Although at one time I did jump up on a countertop!! But my foster mom, at the time, put a stop to that!! I would be okay with older kids, the young ones make me nervous. I prefer ladies over the men, but I could learn to love a man too. I just need someone with patience and time to let me know that I truly belong to their pack.

Well, it has been almost a year, and I am still searching for a home. I am no longer with a foster family, and am in a boarding facility. I would much rather be in a home with you. Laying in the sun on my dog bed, or even soaking up rays in a baby pool. I love to play too!! I know the pictures of me make me look like I am a big dog. But I am not. I am about 55 pounds and about the size of a small lab.

Please can you find it in your heart to take me home and make me your new kid? I would really love to do that. I promise I will be the best girl you ever had!!! !
