India, Stryper, and Snickers lost their home when their guardian had to leave town for a very long extended period of time and he did not have anyone to care for them. He was very sad to have to re-home his cats and we could see how painful it was for him, so we agreed to help. It is always hard to have to leave your furry friends behind but sometimes you have to make decisions that are in the best interest of the cats, and that is what he did. We promised him the three girls were safe with us and we would provide them with all the love and care that he did until new homes could be found.
Right now they are scared and confused and do not understand where they are, which is always the case with cats that come from loving homes. This behavior is nothing new to us and we are prepared. We are going to do all we can to make them feel loved and secure and give them a lot of attention and in no time they will start to feel better. They will soon realize Good Mews is a fun place, not a scary place!
Just by petting and sitting with them, I know they are sweet girls. They are beautiful kitties and I am looking forward to learning more about them. Once I do, I will give updates!
Update-Snickers is a beautiful long-haired black cat with gorgeous golden eyes. She enjoys the company of other cats but also appears to enjoy her alone time. She loves people and when you pet her she likes to rub her head against your hand and arm and will purr up a storm with delight. She loves attention and is so happy when people give it to her. She would be thrilled to have a forever home again
