Pete & Spot's Story...
Our names are Pete and Spot and we were born about 12-25-05. We are both neutered, have had all our puppy shots and are now 100% ready to find our forever home. We are fun loving puppies with a lot of energy. We are crate trained and doing very well on housetraining. We love to play with all our foster brothers and sisters. We don’t even mind cats. We’d like to chase them more but no one lets us.

Both of us would be a great addition to your family. We are just full of love and waiting to meet you. Please contact our foster mom to meet us.

As HAHS now has several adoption locations, please contact Jacque at jacquedavid@earthlink.net to find out when and where you can meet PETE & SPOT!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pete & Spot, a Overland Park Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
