Bandit's Story...
Hi, I'm Bandit. I'm a teeny little fellow who had a rough start in life. I was dumped off in a box with my littermates and I'm the only one who survived. Because I had no mom, I've been bottle fed from day one. I tend to think of people as being my mom, and I love everybody! I love to snuggle and give kisses, I'd spend every single second with people if I could! My foster mom says I'm more like a puppy than a kitten! I get along well with the other cats and dogs at my foster home, and I would love to be adopted with another kitten so I have someone to play and snuggle with when my people aren't home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandit, a Okotoks Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Okotoks, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Okotoks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Okotoks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Okotoks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Okotoks paves the way for another one to be saved.
