Paulo-OH's Story...
******Please note that this handsome Corso is in Ohio***** Isn't he adorable?! Paulo is a 1 year old Cane Corso. Paulo was surrendered to a local shelter because his Dad was moving and "could not take him". How sad. I bet he took his furniture, clothes, and all his belongings.... but he couldn't take his Corso son?! Well, that's his loss because Paulo is a wonderful, sweet, energetic Corso who is eager to please and just wants to be loved. Are you looking for a loyal, intelligent, family dog? Paulo might be your boy. He is almost ready to go to his permanent home, but first he has to visit the vet. As you can see in his pictures, he has some missing hair. However, it is believed to be a simple, treatable issue. We will get that resolved and then Paulo will head home. If you think you have what it takes to be Paulo's new family, please fill out an application at www.canecorsorescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paulo-OH, a New York Cane Corso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in New York, or seeking a Cane Corso dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
