Lulu-NY's Story...
**********Please note LuLu is being fostered in NY********** Breathtaking, isn't she?! LuLu is a very special 3 year old girl who has been in foster care for the last 6 weeks. LuLu was in sad condition when her angelic foster mom rushed to the NY shelter to pull her. The shelter had had LuLu there for over 3 months, as they were trying to adopt her. Poor LuLu was scared to death and was not performing well in the shelter environment at all. Since being in foster care, LuLu has made significant progress, as the power of the pack has helped her overcome many of her fears. LuLu still needs a patient, understanding, gentle leader. She would not do well in a home with children, as unpredictable behavior is frightening to LuLu. LuLu currently lives with several other dogs and a cat or two!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lulu-NY, a New York Cane Corso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in New York, or seeking a Cane Corso dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
