Hello New Friends!
My name is Tanner, and I’m a young Bichon boy of 1 or 2, who weighs about 14 pounds. My foster Mom describes me as “the sweetest dog in the world,” and says I’m “the perfect lap dog.” Aw, thanks, Mom. You’re makin’ me blush!
Dad says I’m a social butterfly, which is pretty silly, because if you look at me, you’ll see that I’m a little fluff of a dog, and not a butterfly at all! He says it means that I love people, and I get along with everybody. It’s true that I like big people and little people. And I like other dogs, and I even like cats! I’m not sure about elephants, because I never met one, but maybe I’d like them too.
One of my favorite things to do is play with my doggy foster brother. Sometimes he chases me and then I run and run and run. And then I chase him back, and we roll all over and just have the bestest time! Mom says I have a smile on my face the whole time and that makes her laugh. My favorite toy is my yellow football. I’m learning to fetch it. Sometimes my foster brother and me will race to see who gets it first, and I get so happy when I win! Yay!!!
Dad says to tell you that even though I’m very young and playful, I also have very good manners. I’m housebroken and know some words like “sit” and “down.” I’m happy to be in my crate, and I ride very quietly in the car. But my favorite thing in the whole, wide world is to be on somebody’s lap. When I’m snuggled up to my people, I’m the happiest little guy in the world. Mom says I just want to be loved, more than anything.
