Kiska's Story...
Kiska's Story: Kiska has been raised from puppyhood in her current home . . . but mom and dad have new jobs which keep them away from home for long hours, and -- as much as they love her -- they know she deserves more time and attention than she's getting. We told them we'd help find this beautiful girl a new home where she can be the shining star she deserves to be!

Kiska's Mom Says: Kiska was born in 2001 (we have all her original paperwork) and we have had her since she was a puppy. She came from a reputable breeder in Crawfordsville, IN. Her dad was on the premises and he was beautiful and weighed over 125 lbs. Kiska is a playful, wonderful dog, who loves to give kisses and talk to you. She hates to be crated and will cry until you let her out. Her favorite toy is a tennis ball and she is great with kids. She used to sit in our yard and just watch as the kids across the street played ball. She is okay around other dogs just as long as she is not restrained during the initial meeting. She has a sister who is a chow/retriever mix and her best friend is Moosey, the garage kitty. They torment each other, but love each other. She likes to run and play outside, but she has lived her whole life in the house or the garage, which is heated, and I do not think she would do well as a purely outdoor dog. She likes to be around people. She has never had any major illnesses and has been followed by the same vet since she was a puppy. She would make a great dog for a family who has the time and energy to spend with her. We know they are out there!

This dog's adoption donation is $200. If you know how much it costs to give a new dog responsible vet care, you can easily see that this is quite a bargain! She has had a complete health exam, has already been spayed, is microchipped, has tested negative for heartworm, has been kept on heartworm and flea preventative, is fully vaccinated and free of parasites.
