Hi everyone! My name is Gizelle (or Gizelly Belly as my goofy foster momma calls me). She tells me I'm healthy and spry and adorable and loving and a bunch of other words I don't completely understand, but I know they're all good things that I can't wait to show my future furever family! Foster momma also said that the rescue did a DNA test on me and I'm full blooded Staffie which makes me extra special!
I am a quiet, calm, snuggly puppy I do know that!! I never bark (except sometimes at those rotten squirrels in the tree teasing me), but other than that I've loved every adult, child, and furry creature I've ever met!!
I also really love water!! Maybe its because I was found 8 years ago wandering down the bayou behind the lady's house who rescued me while I was just looking for someone to give my loyalty and devotion to. I'm still looking for a furever family so I'm trying real hard not to get discouraged. My foster moms says that even though I've been in foster care for so long now, if I am patient the perfect family will come along and love me for everything I have to offer no matter what! Plus, all my years in foster care means I'm a super mature, well behaved, low-key pup whose developed a love for naps so I'm perfect even for a low-activity family (although I love hikes, walks, and play time for active families and/or families with children!
If you give me a chance I'll show you how great I am!! So will you be my furever family, pretty please?
