Anna's Story...
This beautiful girl is Anna. She was born approximately May 14, 2008. She is an Australian Shepherd that is DEAF and VISUALLY IMPAIRED, but she sees well enough to get around. She is a joy to be around! She is playful with the other dogs in the household, yet she is happy to be with her person. She is very easy to care for and her only requirement is tender love and a forever home.

Anna had a tough beginning to life. She was one of 10 other backyard breeder dogs, but you would have never guessed it. She has so much respect for the house that it is incredible. When we rescued Anna we were not aware that she had a big surprise for us. She was pregnant. On 6/2/10 she delivered very cute puppies, which will soon be available for adoption too.

This girl is very special and she would love to be near you. She has learned the doggie door and has NEVER had an accident in the house. Due to the way she lived she is slowly learning how to walk on a leash. She improves with each session. She loves to ride in the truck and will load up on her own.

Her vaccines are up to date. Anna must wait for a few more weeks before she can be spayed since her delivery. She is very calm and loving and will bring great joy into your home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anna, a Mesa Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
