Tiger Lily's Story...
Tiger Lily, also known as Tiger, is a 7 year-old female cat with tortie markings. Tiger loves attention, is very friendly and vocal. Like the ambassador to the house, Tiger greets everyone who comes to the door with affection and demands to be petted. She loves to play and needs regular exercise to help manage her weight. Tiger generally gets on well with other cats and is good with children. Tiger has had urinary tract infections and surgery for bladder stones in the past but has been problem free since following a strict prescription diet. Tiger Lily is current on her vaccinations and is in generally good health but requires that a special diet be strictly followed.

The adoption fee for this cat is $75. An approved application is required. Adoption forms and policies can be found here www.cat-adoption.org, including an online form.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiger Lily, a Cincinnati Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
