LITTLE MISS TIKA...came into the shelter (called "Scully") with an injury to her eye that was never treated. Unfortunately, it had to be removed as it could not be saved. But this petite, 1.5 yr old, 10.5 lb, gray and white Shih Tzu mix (maybe with Maltese) does not mind at all! At first, she was a bit timid of the outside world... and she still has her moments when she hears loud noises, sees runners on the street approaching or unfamiliar dogs. But, it only lasts seconds now! While her hair had to be shaved to do the eye surgery -- remember HAIR GROWS BACK and this little girl is going to be a looker! She has the most adorable personality ever! She loves to fetch! She has a favorite ball with strings attached that she loves to have you throw for her! She never misses! She is very soft, very cuddly and just so very adorable! She is quiet and kissy and really a dollbaby. She even seems to be potty trained, but no guarantees. Actually, we think she has a favorite bath matt she loves to hide it on!! Tika just wants to be loved and cared for as it is likely that she has never had an abundance of anything. When her hair grows back, you won't even notice her eye is missing. Don't let that dissade you or you will be missing out on a fantastic little girl.
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

We hold our adoption events most every Sunday from 10am - 3pm at My Pet Naturally (12001 W. Pico Blvd., West LA 90064).. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!! And don't forget to check out our
