Socks's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Socks's Story...
Lola is 8 weeks old and weighs 2 1/2 pounds. Her mother was a mixture of chihuahua/pug/dachshund and we don't know what her father is. It looks like Lola will be a small size dog when grown and probably be in the 15 -25 pound range.

Lola was born on May 24th. She is an outgoing little girl and likes to explore. She has a feisty nature and enjoys companionship and playtime. She is spunky and confident, yet very social and loving.

Please see our homepage for more information on our adoption process and how it works. We require that her spay surgery be prescheduled and prepaid prior to going to her new home. We vet our pups as much as possible while in our care. This normally includes several wormings and the first of three puppy shots. They typically need two additional puppy shots and a rabies vaccination after going to their new home.

Lola's adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Socks, a Front Royal Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever for sale in Front Royal, or seeking a Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Front Royal.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Front Royal already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Front Royal breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Front Royal paves the way for another one to be saved.
