Tyson's Story...
Tyson is a 4-year-old, loving, Rottie mix whose elderly owner is now very ill and can no longer care for him. Tyson is healthy, neutered, 65 lbs, loves other dogs and is leash trained and totally housebroken. Would do best in an adult home as he has never been around children. Tyson is apparently OK around CATS! Is used to house and yard and would probably do best to remain in that kind of enviornment as opposed to small city apartment. Two years ago, Tyson was rescued from a highway by his good samaritan owner. Now, she needs help to insure that this fine dog can remain safe and cared for. Please call either (212) 427-8273 or (owner's daughter) 917- 553-7948 if you can offer a loving home for Tyson.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tyson, a New York Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in New York, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
