Pinkie's Story...
Pinkie was rescued from an animal control facility that will not adopt out pit bulls. As you can see, she is a beautiful blue pit bull. Pinkie is a very calm, laid back and relaxed little girl. She is the type of dog that requires very little exercise and would rather just snuggle with you on the couch. Her foster mom has taken her to work with her and she was very well behaved in the office, just hung out and layed down. She is quite small, at just 35 lbs. We are not sure what happened to Pinkie's eye, but our vet recommended that it be removed. She just had surgery and is doing well. Pinkie is about a year and a half to two years old, housebroken, crate trained, heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations, heartworm and flea prevention. She loves everyone she meets and is very cuddly. She is good with other dogs and is great with cats. Pinkie walks well on the leash and is eager to please. Please email us for an application if you are interested in adopting Pinkie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pinkie, a Reisterstown American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Reisterstown, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Reisterstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reisterstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reisterstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reisterstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
