Tiger's Story...
Tiger is an amazing Maine Coon (mix) who has just been brought in. He was part of a much larger group of cats where he was allowed outside and mostly forgotten. We scooped him up and brought him into foster. He has been updated on his vaccinations and combo tested (negative for FIV and FeLV). He is approximately 5 years old and about 10 pounds. Even though he has all that fur (which will need a lot of grooming!), he only weighs about 10 pounds.

Please submit an on-line application for approval to meet this gentle guy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiger, a Boston Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Boston, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
