I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Cassy, female 8 year old Youngster! Happy girl that wants to spend her senior years on the Couch! Her previous owners stated she is dominate to big dogs. Her foster moms see's dominance over small dogs and not the big dogs. She has been fine with cats but should still be supervised, they peak her interest when they decide to run. She would probably be happier being the only pet in the house so she gets all the attention. She's a big girl but nice and calm and loves people!

Rescue Group Info...
We are one of the few rescue organizations that will accept animals from the community.*
* " We must have space in one of our foster families, the cat or dog must get along with other animals and we require a $200 donation for cats and dogs to off set the veterinary costs we incur. In addition, if your animal is un-altered we require an additional $100 alteration fee.
We use Foster Families exclusively. We do this by choice because we believe the animals are happier, better socialized and ultimately more adoptable by interacting with families and their pets. We do hold regular adoption hours at our weekend adoption sites and are available by appointment.
We hold adoption events every weekend in the East Bay. We also particpate in numerous community events throughout the year. We also offer private appointments to potential adopters. Please visit our web site at www.ebarr.org or call us at 925-429-2785 for our weekly adoption locations.
The cost to adopt a pet is typically $250 for dogs and $150 for cats*. We provide an extensive vet package for all EBARR animals. All animals are seen by our vet and provided the following:
Alteration
Vaccinations
Flea Treatment
Stool Sample Test
Deworming
A general health exam, where any and all issues are addressed and treated.
In addition for cats and kittens we test for Leukemia and Aids. These services have an average retail value of over $400. All animals adopted from us come with a receipt, listing all services provided from our veterinarian.
*Adoption fee's may be higher depending on the cost incurred for each animal in our care.
We require all potential adopters to complete an application, which must be approved. An agreement also must be read and signed.
Our Mission at EBARR is to provide a home for animals in need. We believe in the health and welfare of all animals and we will never discriminate against breed or size. As part of our family; all animals will receive training, socialization, vaccinations, sterilization, love and affection. Euthanasia will be a last resort, and only when it´s in the best interest of the animal. We will also serve as an educational resource and an adoption option for the community. Our goal is to one day open an animal refuge in California for all animals in need of a home. We serve all of the Bay Area.
