Buddy's Story...
My name is Buddy. I'm about 3-4 years old. I used to have a family and things were going pretty good. Then, one day, they said they didn't want me anymore and they just took me to the pound. I don't know what went wrong! I told them I was sorry but they just left me there. I was pretty scared. But, then someone from NE Ohio Lab Rescue came and got me and I started feeling better. Now, I get to play with other dogs and sleep on a big, doggie bed. I'd like to have a family, again, though. How about you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a North Jackson Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever for sale in North Jackson, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in North Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
