Adam's Story...
Adam had a family who have felt the economic pinch and had to surrender him due to job loss of both husband and wife. Adam was very sad to lose his human family and was rescued before being PTS at a high kill shelter. He is a very loyal guy with extreme intelligent. Adam would do best in a home with children 12 and older and gets along best with female dogs who are his size and submissive. He is now in a foster home where he goes for rides on the farm tractor, and enjoys a jog in the country or along the shoreline. Max wants a home to call his own again. He does not do well with cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Adam, a Sherman Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Sherman, or seeking a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Sherman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sherman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sherman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sherman paves the way for another one to be saved.
