I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.
Four Paws rescued Kong when her time was up at a local shelter. She has been looking for a forever home since July 2010. Please give sweet Kong a chance at a forever home!
Kong is a sweetheart with people. She loves receiving affection from people. She is house-trained, but can escape crates, if she feels she has been in one for too long. Kong is OK with dogs with a proper introduction ,especially small dogs and puppies. Kong is NOT good with cats or other small animals that are not of her same species (rabbits, chickens, rodents, ect). Due to her size, she might do best in a home without young children, but is fine with older children! Kong has a tendency to pull on a leash, but does much better with a gentle leader. She is pretty well-behaved and mellow. Kong would be perfect for a couple or single person looking for a loving companion to go on life adventures!
Kong is approximately 6 years old and is a gorgeous Great Dane/Mastiff mix (we think).
Kong's adoption fee is $250 which includes her spay surgery and vaccinations (rabies and parvo/distemper). It also includes a stomach tack - used to prevent bloat. We show dogs by appointment or at adoption events. Four Paws Rescue is a private, 501(c)3, volunteer-run organization that is dedicated to helping homeless dogs and cats. Four Paws has been rescuing dogs and cats since 2000. We rescue stray and abandoned cats, dogs, puppies and kittens from high-kill shelters, place them in caring foster homes (if available) and then adopt them into loving, life-long home.
Since our shelter is not set up for drop by visits, appointments can be made with our Director to meet any dog in person. Just leave a detailed message with Lisa (Director) at 435-752-3534 or email her volunteer at scfourpaws@hotmail.com.
Our adoption fees range from $125-200. Each pet is spayed or neutered, and current on rabies, parvo and distemper vaccinations
Four Paws Rescue is located in Cache Valley in Northern Utah. We mainly focus on Utah and surrounding states adoptions, but have done a few out-of-state adoptions as well.
