Dusty's Story...
Hi Ya! I am a super sweet kid just hoping and waiting to be the boy to complete some
nice family. I am a fun young pup, playful and smart. So far in my young
life I have never met another dog or person I didn’t like (once I get to know you that is!) I am shy at first and it does take me a moment to warm up so I will be happiest in a family with kids who are a little older. I am already
housebroken and fully crate trained- that is what happens when you are as smart as me! I am a unique little guy as far as my
breed goes , such a cutie huh! My big alert ears! Don't miss out on an
opportunity to call me your own! 9 months old-50lbs. My adoption fee is $150 and includes; current shots, neuter, 5 week Training Class, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dusty, a Portland German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
